This Vintage 1945 City of New York Department of Transportation Public Notice Poster is straight up awesome. This one specifically talks about the Union Street Line and Bergen Street Line being discontinued and replaced with bus service. It was posted effective for December 1, 1945. The subject matter includes Street Cars, Buses, Transportation, Infrastructure, and Public Works. It is 12" wide and 17" tall. This would display wonderfully in a home or business. A great piece of history.
Areas discussed are as follows:
Grand Army Plaza and Hamilton Avenue
Flatbush Avenue at Grand Army Plaza, Union Street, Smith Street, Sackett Street, Ferry Place returning via Hamilton Avenue, Union Street, Eighth Avenue, St. Johns Place, and Flatbush Avenue to Grand Army Plaza.
