This is for a black and white copy from my 1940's mail order #2325 transfer for embroidery..."ANIMAL ABC" coverlet / quilt pattern for embroidery.Probabley a Kate Marchbanks or Anne Cabot design.Copy includes coverlet instructions and 26 letters with motifs and their color key chart.Motifs include: A-alligator,B-bear,C-chick,D-dof,E-elephant,F-fox,G-goose,H-horse,I-(some type of bird),J-jaguar cub,K-kitten,L-lamb,M-monkey,N-nightengale,O-owl,P-panda bear,Q-quail,R-rabbit,S-seal,T-turtle,U-unicorn,V-vulture,W-whale,XYZ-zebra...Completed quilt measures 36"x52".For a different look,you could embroider all motifs in redwork.To use this copy you will either need to trace the design with a transfer pen and then iron onto fabric or trace it with a pencil directly onto fabric.
