This listing features a vintage Cheesebrough 5 lbs Vaseline Tin from the early 1900's. The can is embossed on one side and has a very partial label on another. Some of these cans were made up as late as WWII however, the later tins have "Made in the USA" embossed on them, this one does not indicating this tin is much earlier. It stands 7-1/2" tall and 5-1/4 inches square. There is an overall aged patina and amazingly no rust. The lid easily unscrews with no rust and the inside is super clean. The partial label is discolored and partially missing. There are some tiny dings in the metal on the bottom only. Very cool antique piece.
