Item description

Vintage necklace associated with the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (B.P.O.E.). It features a chain and several decorative plaques. The tags include inscriptions like "HELEN," "GRAND TEMPLE BIRTH. DEPT.," and "JUNIOR SENIOR MOTHER." The main pendant is round and ornate, showcasing an elk head, embellished with rhinestones and set within a decorative border. These types of necklaces were often worn by members of the Elks Lodges, particularly women's groups or auxiliary units, to signify their roles or achievements within the organization. Some stones are missing, 2 or so.
