UP FOR SALE: Vintage Gaucho Cowboy Style Wool Blend Poncho Blanket Blanket 76.5x67" Collector Estate There is nothing more iconic or important to the South American cowboy's outfit: a earthy, entirely handmade garment designed to last decades in the wilderness and deserts, protecting the gaucho from sun and cold, thorns and critters. Essentially a large saddle blanket, this textile measures approximately 77" x 67", about 6 1/2' x 5 1/2' -- more than big enough to wrap yourself up in to sleep out under the stars . . . This poncho looks great on a man or a woman -- or just slung on the couch or bed in the hacienda or cabin ! Excellent Condition--no holes--except the one you put your head through. I have link rolled this like crazy--it was lived the majority of it's life in a trunk with tanned fur pelts and therefore does have some lighter hairs here and there---I have managed to get the majority of the moth ball smell out as well, but still a light smell--this weighs almost 8lbs and is an amazing find!
