DESCRIPTION: This is a nice painted German lidded beer stein. This beer stein has a military theme, and it represents the city of Heidelberg, Germany (see photos). There is a lithophane panel at the bottom of this Stein that depicts a nude woman (see photos). The stein commemorates military service for an American working in the Office of the Attorney General of the United States. The stein was for a man named George for service between February 1968 to February 1970 (see photos). The Stein is not marked by a maker. This Stein is vintage. The item measures in total about 9.5 inches high. This item came from an estate liquidation. This item is sold in as is as found estate condition. The item has damage and/or possible repair to the American Eagle finial on the top of the pewter lid, paint and finish losses, and some wear (see photos and decide the age, the origin, and the maker).
