The Ivory (preban) rose sits on petals of 12 K gold which I believe to be gold filled. The ivory rose has two petals that have a  discoloration which can be seen without a magnifier. Under magnification the signature is nearly visible. It appears to be 2 C's, but not in the configuration you would see Coco Chanel. It is just CC in a circle. I believe Chanel used this hallmark back in the day, but since I do not know the origin of this pin I cannot positively say it is Chanel. The clasp works well.
