Item description

Vintage Kodak Pageant Model No AV-126TR Sound Projector Tested Needs Work! The Kodak Pageant AV-126TR is a 16mm movie projector manufactured in the United States. It is a vintage projector designed for showing 16mm movie films with sound or without sound. Preowned and in cosmetically excellent condition. We tested and confirmed conditions. Very clean unit. Refer to pictures and video ( posted soon). Turns on works as designed. Reels and movie not included. It does not give off sound! Needs work! Sound not working. Changed sound reproducer lamp and it did not work. Unknown why it does not give off sound. No sound! Examine photos. See video( posted soon). Photos and video( posted soon) are part of the description. Cosmetically good looking projector. Good working condition. Please ask any questions before purchase. I?ll do my best to describe everything I can. Projector appears in fair working condition. The projector fully powers on and all the reel motors work. There is a Projection lens, a KODAK PROJECTION 2 INCH LENS EKTANAR f/1.6 When tested with film the audio system does not work. The optical light does not power on. May need some tlc. I tried changing the AV Sound bulb and still could not get audio to work. The main projector lamp does illuminate, and the reel arms rotate in forward and reverse as well. The take-up arm and take-off arm work as designed. It did run film properly. The projector turns on properly and the light works, and the motor spins the cables properly. Case very good sound condition. The other half of the case includes a speaker with wire. Speaker looks to be in very good condition. Comes in a sturdy case and the handles are intact and secure as well as the hinges and latches. The wire mesh on windows looks good. This circa 1960's Kodak AV 126 TR Projector has 2 projections speeds, 16 fps for silent film, and 24 fps for sound film. There is a diagram on the machine showing Manual threading of film path. There is a phono and microphone input, volume and tone controls, and a separate phono output. The external speaker is located in the front cover. This projector is very heavy. This work horse of a projector weighs about 35 1/2 lbs and outer cabinet measures 16 x 12 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches approximately. I don?t know much about any of the other functions but everything really looks great and seems to be fine. Well, hope this can find a new home-it?s a real beauty! Please see all pictures closely and ask questions if need be! Will be shipped quickly and with the utmost care! Thanks for looking. Examine photos. Photos are part of the description. Please ask any questions before purchase.
