The necklace looks to be in the style of Zuni bird fetish necklaces that I have had in the past. The necklace has a metal barrel-shaped clasp (see photos). The item measures in total about 16.25 +/- inches in length. There are 48 small carved birds on the necklace (see photos and decide the age, the origin, and the maker). The item has some minimal wear (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice decorative Zuni style bird fetish necklace to add to your collection.
