Vintage Christmas Tree Clips John Hardy Modernist 1970s 3D Silver Book Piece Retired Designer Signed Jewelry Silvertone Metal Clasp Brooch 3 Dimensional Figural Pine Winter Holiday Accessory Neiman Marcus This is a wonderful pair of vintage signed John Hardy 3-D Christmas Tree Clips. These are from the 1970s and were a Limited Edition design for Neiman Marcus. Each clip measures approximately 2 inches by 1 inches. They have a great heavy textured finish of little round circles or dots. They are signed on the back with the John Hardy logo “J” and “H” on the end of the clip and the script signature. This clip is a featured “book piece” in Trowbridge's Christmas Tree Pins book and valued at $50 to $75. These would make a great addition to your vintage Christmas Tree collection. These are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is no finish loss and they are bright and shiny. The clips are tight and secure. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe. What a great item to wear for the Holiday on coats, jackets, hats, scarves, fur pieces and even clipped onto a purse or pocket. You could use it as a hair clip. It would also make a nice gift for an office desk to be used as a mail or memo clip. The clip back is smooth, not serrated so it won't damage paper if used on a desk. It could be clipped onto a ribbon on a package as a decorative accent to make that Christmas present extra special. You could even use it as a Christmas tree ornament.
