There is some very light fraying around the edges as well. I am unsure of the age or exact material make-up, but it feels like a polyester blend. It is done in beautiful deep charcoal grey, and has a hand knit flower at each end, along with a snap closure "pocket" at each end as well. It is a long medium narrow scarf that could be used as a scarf and is long enough to wrap around several times. It is 64" long, and 9.5" wide.
