Wow! What a great old comic book. This Giant Comic TARZAN'S JUNGLE ANNUAL from Dell Comics, is really much more than a comic book. It's also an educational book. It is 96 pages with a thick cover, not like a comic book paper cover, more like poster board. The pages are like comic book pages, but it is a little larger than a regular size comic book. It has several stories, a game, and educational illustrations about animals and the people in the Ituri Land, with pages about the ape English dictionary at the end and the Dell pledge to parents for clean and wholesome entertainment. The back cover is a bright and colorful add for juicy fruit chewing gum that is quite cute and brightly colored, and is in great shape and color. The front cover is in good condition with the exception of a spot on the word Jungle, as you can see in the photo and on the side, which is barely seen, and a small spot on the top of the page where the green color is off. The spine on the edge of the outside cover has a very little wear of the color, but the pages are in great condition and the book is tightly together with not much use if any at all, there are no tears or creases. This book is in great vintage condition and would be a wonderful addition to any book collection, or collection of animal books. Good children's book too.
