This vintage Jefferson Golden Hour Electric Clock is an excellent addition to any mid-century modern collection. It's important for owners to know this, because if they use a brass cleaner to polish it up, the cleaner removes the finish, leaving an ugly nickel colored spot underneath. No chemicals should be used to clean them, just polishing with a gold jewelry cloth works fairly well. I was told the best way to clean them is in an ultrasonic tank using jewelry cleaning solution.
