This is a Walrus Made with Sitka Clay from Alaska, USA. MADE IN SITKA, ALASKA CERAMITIQUE. Brochure in side states: “The reddish and chocolate brown clay used in making these ceramic items is obtained in and around the city of Sitka, Alaska. Every finished piece is an original because the clay is allowed to flow the way it wants to. It is mixed and marbled with white ceramic clay. A clear glaze is baked on, to give the item a smooth and glossy surface. No colorings are ever added. We are proud and happy to be able to share with you some of the natural beauty of Alaska”.
