About the item: Star Trek #4 from 1969 features one of the best photo covers from the early issues of the series. A classic, it features the Enterprise as well as Kirk and Spock. Dick Wood (who wrote the first three issues of the series) continues with #4 and the issue is the second drawn by Alberto Giolitti (who would go on to be the artist perhaps most closely associated with the series). Signed by William Shatner, it has off white to white pages and is part of CGC's special Signature Series. With Signature Series books a certified witness, employed by CGC, actually observes the signing of the comic and then immediately takes possession of the book so there is no possibility of the real autograph being switched out with another.
