anti inflammation diet - FLAX SEED OIL - anti inflammation eating 1B 100Softgels FLAX SEED OIL CAN POSSIBLY REDUCE INFLAMMATION MAY LOWER CHOLESTEROL LOWERS BLOOD PRESSURE CAN CONTROL BLOOD SUGAR CONTROLS HUNGER HAS MUCH NEEDED MINERALS CAN IMPROVE SKIN HEALTH 1 Bottle = 100 Softgels FLAXSEED CAN POSSIBLY REDUCE INFLAMMATION: Thanks to its omega-3 fatty acid content, some research shows that flaxseed oil may help reduce inflammation in certain populations. However, one analysis of 20 studies showed that flaxseed oil did not have an effect on inflammation in the general population. Nevertheless, it significantly reduced levels of C-reactive protein, a marker used to measure inflammation, in obese people. An animal study also found that flaxseed oil has potent anti-inflammatory properties. Some studies indicate that flaxseed oil’s anti-inflammatory effects are equivalent to those of olive oil. FLAXSEED MAY LOWER CHOLESTEROL: To start one health benefit of flax seeds is their ability to lower cholesterol levels. In one study in people with high cholesterol, consuming 3 tablespoons (30 grams) of flaxseed powder daily for three months lowered total cholesterol by 17% and "bad" LDL cholesterol by almost 20%. Another study of people with high blood sugar found that taking 1 tablespoon (10 grams) of flaxseed powder daily for one month resulted in a 12% increase in "good" HDL cholesterol. FLAXSEED LOWERS BLOOD PRESSURE: Studies on flax seeds have also focused on its natural ability to lower blood pressure. A Canadian study found eating 30 grams of flax seeds daily for six months lowered systolic and diastolic blood pressure by 10 mmHg and 7 mmHg, respectively. For those who were already taking blood pressure supplements, flax seeds lowered blood pressure even further and decreased the number of patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure by 17%. FLAXSEED CAN CONTROL BLOOD SUGAR: It's characterized by high blood sugar levels as a result of either the body's inability to secrete insulin or resistance to it. A few studies have found that people with type blood sugar control problems who added 10–20 grams of flaxseed powder to their daily diet for at least one month saw reductions of 8–20% in blood sugar levels. FLAXSEED CONTROLS HUNGER: If you have the tendency to snack between meals, you might want to consider adding flax seeds to your beverage to stave off hunger. One study found that adding 2.5 grams of ground flax fiber extract to a beverage reduced feelings of hunger and overall appetite. The feelings of reduced hunger were likely due to the soluble fiber content of flax seeds. It slows digestion in the stomach, which triggers a host of hormones that control appetite and provide a feeling of fullness. FLAXSEED HAS MUCH NEEDED MINERALS: Minerals Calcium, potassium, and magnesium are all minerals that your body needs for almost everything it does, including proper kidney, heart, nerve, and bone function, per National Institutes of Health experts. FLAXSEED CAN IMPROVE SKIN HEALTH: Flaxseed oil may also help enhance skin health. One small study had 13 women supplement with flaxseed oil for 12 weeks. At the end of the study, they experienced improvements in skin smoothness and hydration, while skin sensitivity to irritation and roughness had decreased. A recent study showed that flaxseed oil had similar positive results. Test subjects with dermatitis were given flaxseed oil for three weeks. The oil was shown to decrease symptoms of atopic dermatitis, such as redness, swelling and itching. CAUTION: Do not exceed recommended dose.
