I don't think these shoes are for wear as the leather part seems a tad bit harder than it might have originally been (probably dried somewhat due to age). This was used for decor in an asian inspired theme room but great decor for baby's room. Regardless, they are adorable. I don't know what they are made of as they are very lightweight and painted or lacquered? The metal that adheres the leather straps to the shoes has some rust due to age. They measure approx. 5 1/4" length x 2 1/4" width at the top (toes). Heels are 1 3/4" wide x 7/8" heel height.
