Item description
PINK PONDEROSA TOMATO seeds. These might be the best tasting tomato's out-there, and they look really good! Easy to grow from seed. They started to show up in seed catalogs back in the 1920/30's. Classic old commercial heirloom! Vigorous 4-5' tall plants produce high yields of huge, flattened, meaty, almost seedless, pinkish-red beefsteak-type fruits weighing 1-2 lb and some more than that! Very mild flavored, low acidic fruits are borne in clusters of 3-5 fruits. Delicious canned. Perfect for sandwiches, burgers, salads and slicing. The vines are thick and sturdy with lots of leaves to shade the tomatoes. These can be grown in the garden or in patio containers. Medium water and a little organic fertilizer if needed. Bumble Bee's do most of the work pollinating tomatoes. 50+ Seeds per order. Thank You!
