Item description
Early Purple Vienna Kohlrabi (Brassica oleracea), also known as German Turnip, resembles a turnip but is grown above the ground. Yields will produce smooth purple flattened bulbs with creamy white flesh that is mild and sweet. When cooked they will smell like cabbage but taste more like broccoli stems. This cool weather crop is very hardy and is excellent steamed or in soup and salads
