Cuttings from well-established stapelia grandiflora succulent. These are also known as toad plant, carrion plant, starfish cactus, and several other names. These plants are a great conversation piece and very interesting collector plant. The flowers have a distinctive stink to them (that is where the name "carrion flower" comes from). This variety has large, flesh-red flowers and beautiful green stems. It does not have spines, but there are soft "hooks" up the stems. They do well as houseplants. Leave indoors for colder temps, move outdoors in the spring. They need some direct sun to bloom, but do not want full sun during the hottest parts of the day. Care is pretty easy.
