This variety has large, flesh-red flowers and beautiful green stems. It does not have spines, but there are soft "hooks" up the stems. They do well as houseplants. Leave indoors for colder temps, move outdoors in the spring. They need some direct sun to bloom, but do not want full sun during the hottest parts of the day. Care is pretty easy.
