Item description
This item is offered as acceptable at a reduced price because of the following defects:
Box has some light shelf wear, but is still nice and glossy. Cassette is nice and clean. Although duplicated in the superior SP mode, (Goodtimes video version is not) the sourceprint used is pretty bad, a faded and possibly 2nd generation tape? with a loss of fine details and color it had a bad spot of rainbow squigly lines about 1/2 way through. This again, is probably in the sourceprint that was used.
Watchable thanks to Iron Eyes Cody acting as an advisor, this take on Little Big Horn was more sympathetic to the plight of the Native Americans than the typical western. Sioux chief SITTING BULL (J. Carrol Naish) calls for patience while Crazy Horse (Iron Eyes Cody) wants war against the white interlopers.
Maj. Bob Parrish (Robertson) gets court-martialed for siding with the injuns against bloodthirsty Col. Custer (Douglas Kennedy). President Grant (John Hamilton) wants Parrish to pow-wow with Sitting Bull but there's more trouble coming.
