Item description
Vintage original 13.75 x 21.5 in. Belgian poster fom the classic 1940's animated family drama, BAMBI, released in 1942 by RKO Radio Pictures and directed by James Algar, Samuel Armstrong, and David Hand, in which a young deer grows-up in the forest.
Printed for the film's 1957 theatrical re-release in Belgium, the artwork features the film's major characters. It has been professionally linen-backed and is in very fine condition. It has a sticky substance on the back of the linen and, as shown in the photos, sits atop a piece of cardboard inside of a piece of clear shrinkwrap. We believe it can be separated from the cardboard but we cannot say for certain, as we did not attempt to remove it.
