Item description
Size Heat Level: Jalapeno M peppers are typically 3-1/2 inches long and 1-1/2 inches wide. They have a heat level ranging from 2,500 to 8,000 Scoville Heat Units, making them medium-hot
.
Plant Growth: These peppers grow on vigorous plants that can reach heights of 24 to 36 inches and require full sun for optimal growth
2
.
Use in Cooking: Jalapeno M peppers are commonly used in Mexican cuisine, often found in nachos, salsas, and pickled dishes
Growing Instructions
Starting Seeds: Start Jalapeno M seeds indoors about 8 weeks prior to the last expected frost date. Seeds should be planted about 1/4 inch deep in sterile soil mix, requiring warmth (around 85F) and moisture to germinate
2
. The seeds typically germinate in 7 to 21 days.
Transplanting: Transplant seedlings outdoors when nighttime temperatures are consistently above 55F. Space the plants 30 inches apart in well-draining soil
2
.
Care Requirements: Provide regular watering and apply fertilizer when the blooms appear to encourage production. Harvest the peppers when they are firm and glossy dark green, though they can also ripen to red for a sweeter flavor
1st class mail is used so there is no tracking. If you prefer tracking i recommend paying the extra fee for upgraded shipping which is 1 fee for as many packs of seeds as you want and alot quicker delivery
